Terms of Use

These Terms apply to PersianID (persianid.com) and Persian Awards (persianawards.com), together "the Sites". They share one account system, so one set of terms covers both. By using the Sites or creating an account you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and are responsible for what happens under your account. One person or organisation per account. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

2. What you post

You keep the rights to what you post (profiles, articles, videos, listings, comments, photos). You give us a non-exclusive licence to show, store and promote it on the Sites and in our newsletters and social channels. You promise that you have the right to post it and that it is lawful and not misleading, abusive or infringing anyone's rights.

3. Marketplace, deals, coupons and bookings

Sellers, merchants, organisers and service providers are responsible for their offers, prices, taxes, delivery and refunds. Where we hold money in escrow, it is released under the rules shown at checkout. Links to third-party stores and sites are provided for convenience; we do not control them.

4. Awards, voting and nominations

Nominations, voting and results follow the published rules of each award and project. We may remove votes or entries that are fraudulent or manipulated.

5. Not allowed

Spam, scraping, harassment, hate speech, impersonation, illegal goods or services, malware, or trying to break or overload the Sites.

6. Reporting and removal

Use the "Raise an objection" or support form to report content. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion, and we try to be fair and consistent.

7. Liability

The Sites are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for what other users or third parties do. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continuing to use the Sites after a change means you accept it. Important changes will be announced on the Sites or by email.
